This past weekend, the team traveled to Natick High School for the Gracia Burkill Memorial Tournament. In keeping with Gracia Burkill's belief in individual success, no overall sweepstakes awards are handed out at this tournament.

The Shrewsbury High School Speech and Debate team kicked off their season this weekend with a contingent of 19 students traveling to New Haven, CT for the Yale University Invitational. It was a very successful beginning to the season:
Nuha Salam was the 2nd place overall in Oral Interpretation of Literature.
Nuha was also 5th place overall in Dramatic Interpretation.

In September, one of our JV Public Forum debate teams officially began the season with an online round robin tournament. Thanks to Srinivas Divakaruni for judging this first tournament of the season.
